Computer does not display video or shuts down once in a while?
My computer is a custom built. It is rated at a 5.7 in Windows 7 and the specs are the following:
GIGABYTE GA-G31M-ES2L Micro-Atx board
Intel Core2duo 6600 2.2ghz
4gb OCZ overclocked silver plated ram
Win7 32 bit
500gb Seagate Internal Hdd
512mb Asus GeForce 9600 GSO vid-card
Athena Power AP-MP4ATX55FEP8 550watt Crossfire Ready Power Supply
It just started to do this recently so I have not been able to take a look. I really dont know what is causing it either other than the video card or the ram might be going out. Could be both. I dont know! Either way someone on here might know what is going on..
I have replaced sticks of ram with other types but all of my ram sticks are all older so they all may be bad. I have an onboard video but i dont have any extra video cards.

Does the video go out every once in a while or is it constantly off. if it is a video card problem , have you tried another video card to see if the slot is no good or have you just plugged in another monitor..if you think it is the ram, how have you tried to get it swapped out? or have you just tried to replace the one stick with another? if you want a solution, you need to give more details..
