Obama FINALLY solved unemployment!!!! Breaking news.?

There is a tax credit for any business that hires someone unemployed.

Since most companies have been discriminating against the unemployed and only wanting to hire the employed....now comes can get around $12000 for hiring someone unemployed vs employed.

Thoughts....???

Update:

Edit: Replace comes with companies! My bad.

"Since most companies have been discriminating against the unemployed and only wanting to hire the employed"

Thats a bunch of nonsense. Many companies dont like their employees to have two jobs. Its moonlighting. Part of the reason being that their employee might be too tired to work after working his other job.

Where do you all think this money comes from?

Who do you think the government is?

Its the taxpayers aka we the people. Govt just doesnt have an endless supply of free doe to hand out forever without consequences and digging the hole deeper.

We need more than temporary fixes to skew #'s to make things seem okay.

Wait a minute! Isn't that discrimination against WORKING PEOPLE who are desperately trying to find a better paying job ???? Oh. no matter. The Great Anointed One will provide more government handouts. Hey. My hubby lost his Government Motors job. Sales reps weren't saved from job loss like their union employees. he is working, but always trying to find something better. Still not what he made at GM after 12 years. Guess he will have a harder time competing for a job.

Source(s): Thank you US government for once again screwing with the free market. ******-- maybe try to reduce the number allowed into the USA for immigration work visas. ya think that 1 million+ workers a year are a bit too many in this economy ????-*****

Isn't that discriminating against people who are employed but want better jobs? After all if they leave that leaves a vacancy where they were working.

We certainly don't want companies to hire the best person for the job. Anything but that. Instead, let's interfere with the marketplace as much as possible. This always works.

Yea, hes only going to massively raise taxes on small business owners and put our country into massive debt to do it.

Moving resources from one sector of the economy to another doesnt create growth. Obama is an idiot.

If he wanted to "solve" unemployment he would DRASTICALLY reduce the size of government and free up resources for the private sector that actually PRODUCE something.

So companies can just lay off all of their workers for a week and then rehire them and get a boatload of free money. Brilliant.

if companies actually hire people, I'm glad.

I'm surprised at these people. "unemployment is bad" and then when something is looking better "people getting employed is bad" how about making up your mind?

bobbi, you and your husband should be GRATEFUL he has a job. there are many who don't, but poor you. lay off the self pity.

Nobody is going to hire as long as taxes are going up and they are mandated to provide health insurance

Our Recession is due to our devalued currency, due to Bush's Debt and tax cuts.

Unless we raise taxes back to Clinton/Gingrich levels, our dollar will never strengthen, and we will never pay our way out of this hole.
