OK is michigan and denard robinson over rated?
Ok, lets see. The wolverines beat up on mighty conn and nd to start the season so lets give heisman trophy to denard and rank mighty wolverines really High. Then week 3 arrives and mich barely beats umass. Oh also temple WHIPS conn. and MSU BEATS nd. YOUR THOUGHTS FANS

Michigan's fate lies on the shoulders (or should I say shoelaces, or lack thereof?) of denard and whether he puts up video game numbers or not. This won't last all season. By attrition, they will fall off but you will have to accept that they are a ranked team for now because the BCS system sucks donkey b@lls.

Michigan is a over rated. Denard is not. Yes, the team barely beat UMass. But he still had 345 total yards. They didn't run him as much and he still had over 100 yards. Just about everyone starts off the season easy. Michigan State isn't that bad. Actually a pretty good team. I'm a Gators fan and I think the Big 10 in general is over rated every year. But that's a different topic.

Michigan has a decent offense, and nothing else
our defense is a disaster and our ST are embarassing
going on pure stats, denard was the heisman winner provided that they vote for the heisman in september
which they dont for obvious reasons
I actually wish that we werent ranked bc that way we wouldnt be considered a 'failure' later in the season
this happened last year...all the SC/ESPN people were like 'michigans back' even though we werent then later they were like 'michigan sucks'
although #20 is not really high
rankings dont mean ****-just ask Va Tech
Michigan is not overrated or underrated until they play some real teams and actually have to step up

Denard Robinson is not overrated, but Michigan is. And I've felt Michigan is overrated since day one, when Robinson broke out in the Conn game and the media lost their f*cking minds talking up Robinson and Michigan and saying we're "back." You obviously didn't watch that game--you just know the result--so let me fill you in, in the briefest way possible:
Denard Robinson was perfectly fine in the game against Mass. He started out with a pick, but that was coming at some point or another and probably should have happened against Notre Dame, to be honest...then again, anybody who watched Notre Dame-Michigan State last night ought to now know that ND's defense is not that great, either. Really, if it weren't for Robinson and the rest of Michigan's offense, we would have lost to another FCS team Saturday. But everyone who plays Michigan D, with the exception of Mike Martin and Jordan Kovacs, and who coaches Michigan D just flatout needs to be horsewhipped. You don't give that many points to a damn FCS team. Those dudes looked like they had never played D before, no idea that they're supposed to cover receivers. That's not Denard Robinson's fault. And yes, it's obvious Conn is bad, but we don't know about MSU yet...so don't act like MSU beating ND means anything bad for Michigan. What's bad for Michigan is, first and foremost, that we let Rich Rodriguez come in and completely ruin the way we play football...and we have a great QB but horrible defense and special teams as a result.
Long story short--when your special teams and defense are as bad as Michigan's are, there's no way in the world you're "back" as an elite team, or even a Big Ten title contender.

sure. Michigan advert reported he will hire a coach who can adapt to the staff, so changing his place and risking a pass does not be a clever first pass. Denard is the only experienced QB they have on the roster, and that they are going to proceed to run a style to maintain him a risk in area, basically no longer as lots zone study and planned runs as this year. If Forcier remains in Ann Arbor next season, he will in all probability redshirt to get his tutorial eligibility lower back. Incoming coach could in all probability want Devin Gardner because of the fact the eventual starter, with Denard at tailback or receiver, yet i do no longer see that going on till he struggles together with his determination making interior the passing activity sufficient to lose the commencing QB job.

Denard played well in weeks one and two, but it's way too early to give him the Heisman. Mallett, Luck, Foles and Pryor all deserve consideration, plus a few others. Let's wait until October or November before sorting out the candidates.
