Does my car have a Blown head gasket?

Car idles low and gradually picks up starting it up first think in the morning and after it’s been parked for awhile (6 hours). I have stepped on the gas rpm’s go up, but feels wired like it slightly vibrates. Coolant level is low by the end of the week and I always refill.

Car has 172, 000 miles on original engine with regular maintenance done to it. I was wondering if a blown head gasket or possibly a cracked cly. Wall would result it coolant to leak into the combustion chamber and misfire.

It could be the head gasket but the problem you have right now is your coolant leak. You shouldn't have to put any coolant in.

The leak may be external and you're not seeing it, or it could be head gasket, cracked block or internal.

When you have a leak, the engine temperature cannot get up the the proper temperature and therefore you car is running terrible. Find and fix the leak for starters and go from there.

Hope you didn't let it go to the overheating state.

check and see if your oil has a milky whie color to it . if it does it means coolant is getting in and could be a head gasket
