Why are cops ignoring the new "No Text while Driving" law?
I live up the street from a police station. Every cop I've seen on the road was either texting, talking or digging in their purses while driving. If they won't respect the law, why should we?

Frankly, I think they ignore the seat belt law as well. You're right - they should walk the walk and not just talk the talk (no pun intended!)

Cops are privledged -- they have to use computers and the radio while driving, they get to speed, run through red lights and stop signs, etc.

Because they think they are above the law, I see them driving & talking more than anything.
