What is a "cert 4 in vet nursing"?

I saw this mentioned in another question and would like to know what country/state this certification program is offered in and through what agency.

What they get from this: Veterinary reception; Animal behavior and training advice; Working in animal care industry; Animal handling; Assisting with surgery; Daily clinic routines; Clinical pathology techniques; Coordinating theater routines and carrying out nursing procedures for routine and more complicated surgery; Providing veterinary advice to clients under supervision.

I believe it is Australian. http://www.tafe.vic.gov.au/tafecourses/search/Cour...

Veterinary Nurses/Technicians are all over the world, just look it up. Most colleges offer 2-3 year programs.

Edit: judging by your name, I assume you are already a Tech. In the european countries, they are considered Vet Nurses.
