I agree with Rugratzzzzzz...
The Sony HVR Z7U does have a "card slot". And reading about it in the manual or checking the manufacturer's web site is the best method to confirm that. The Z7 uses a specific type of flash memory card to record video.
The HVR-Z5U and HVR-V1U record video to digital tape and have a card slot for flash memory to store stills (not video).
I suggest you download the manuals for each of these camcorders to confirm this information. They are available at sony.com in the "professional video" product page for the camcorders...
