Nikon Coolpix L110 wont turn on with new batteries?
I have bought the same batteries and brand and voltage that came with it to replace then ones that are exhausted. The camera wont respond to them or turn on. I have to send it away to take up two weeks to fix at the Nikon center in CA. Has anyone had this issue and are there any other suggestions before I mail off?

It uses four AA batteries. They must be inserted with the correct polarity (positive and negative) that is shown in your manual on page 14. Double check them. I have made this mistake, maybe you are too.
