Acer Aspire 2930z powers up with blue light fan runs but just a black backlit screen?
ive plugged it via its vga to my pc screen and still the same any help!
screen is fine powers up and fan starts but nothing on screen anyone help!

Operating system has crashed or corrupt start up files, use built in system recovery or the eRecovery disc set and do a system repair.
Press F8 at start up to enter start options, choose safe mode with networking back up to CD's or external drive any thing of importance before it is lost.

does the Acer Logo shows up? if it does and it won't go anywhere else then most likely yes your OS is screwed so hope to god you have your recovery CDs
