96 camry - something wrong at 2000 RPM?
96 Camry - V4, 215K miles. Drives quite very well. But when the engine revs between 1900-2000, engine is very loud, feels vibrating as a whole and powerless. Once it crosses this range, gets an instance burst of power and becomes quieter. What could be wrong? Just did a complete tune up. Problem existed even before the tune up..I tried fuel injector cleaner and the problem does not seem to go away..any help?

sounds like the air bypass valve is sticking or the throttle valve is sticking
if the car has a accelerator cable follow it the the throttle body and try to manually move it back and forth like you were going to rev it up under the hood. if it has a sticking spot in it take it to a shop and have them clean it real good
should run like a champ then
