Just bought a kitchen pull out sprayer. It seemed to have a female nut looking like a 3/8. I tried to connect it to a 3/8 Male leg of the flow control value. But it wont get on. How to get them connected? Suggestion please..

Third party Statefarm insurance is going to total my car. Here is the problem.

1. How to find the ACV value? Nada Clean-Retail or Clean-Tradein?

2. I spent over 500$ after I bought this car recently.Is there a way I can get this back with receipts?

3. What if the ACV value offered by them is very low?

Car is KIA spectra 2004, 130K miles. Was in exceptional driving condition with all new drive and timing belt. Transmission flushed recently.

Nada has the following

Rough Trade-In - $1775

Average Trade-In - $2525

Clean Trade-In - $3125

Clean Retail - $5025

I am expecting them to match the retail price atleast 80-90%. Will they make me to settle for trade-in range? Obviously, I will have to pay Retail price for a replacement car and not the trade-in..

Kia Spectra 2004 EX. Was hit from the rear at an angle. Direct impact was on the driver side rear wheel.

-> Rim was bent

-> Side body mangled (no damage to trunk or rear door)

-> rear wheel pushed forward from its position

-> Control arm was bent

Insurance is 3rd party and the collision shop is not in the authorized list of State farm but they do a very good job. Assessor is due today/tomorrow. I want to make sure that he includes all possible items in his estimation.

Possibly I am thinking all these related parts are damaged too due to wheel tilting forward from its axis

I see credit cards mentioning about - Rewards are for transactions classified as "paid at pump"? Does it refer to paying money to the pump attendant and not paying inside? How about swiping at the machine?

2004 KIA spectra - 130k miles. Recently power steering started to act up after timing belt and other drive belt change.

When starting cold in the morning, power steering will not start rotating with the belt and a loud squealing comes from belt running over the pulley. It then picks up slowly moments later.

The same happens when turning the wheels to the end(even in operating temperatures), power steering pump stops and belt squeals.

I tried flushing the PS and refilled. PS belt is tight enough.

Not sure what might be wrong. Help..

Kia Spectra - 2004. Changed the transmission fluid yesterday (by flushing out through the radiator hose as mentioned in manual) with recommended transmission oil. Oil is now topped up to level. However I started hearing(not sure it was there before) a mild wining noise (more like winding a spring) when releasing the gear from parking. It is only for a brief period and goes away. Never occurs in any of the gears either ways. But could hear when moving it back to Parking.

I start to think it is the sound of torque converter starts to engaging the other half. More audible due to viscous new oil. Did any one come across this?

I was in an accident. I was rear ended as a result I rear ended another car in front of me. Insurance agreed to fix both the bumper and repaint. All that is fine. But after this accident airbag light is on and code stays something open circuit in driver airbag. I banged my arm in the steering at time of impact so I am thinking it has got something to do with it.

Insurance does not believe it is due to that and not ready to fix it. How to negotiate with them for this? Insurance is the third party insurance and not mine.

What are the options I have on this?

Is there a tool/way to find out what will be the next stop for my fedex package? Package is coming from Chicago to San Antonio. It is a fedex Ground.

This remains unknown until the package arrives at some distribution center. However somewhere in their systems fedex knows this. Is that exposed?

Recently programmed a remote key for KIA (bought as a repo car) Spectra. Remote operates the Door trunk and panic as it should. However

1. Does not honk when the light blinks

2. When locking the system anti theft is not armed. I could open the door with key and start the car. I am thinking it should not.

Cos, this car is a repo, not sure they ve disabled any systems before sale. Please help.

KIA Spectra. Trunk does not open tall. Remains very low. I am assuming the spring lost its tension. Any suggestions to make it work?

I bought a Kia 2004.5 Spectra from a dealer. Looks like that is a repo car. The car comes with a security system but there is no key fob to operate it. How can I get the matching FCC# number for the system? How easy it is to program a new key fob?

I am buying a car from a dealer tomorrow. The car does not have dealer plate but regular plate.

What documents he should provide me once money transaction takes place? He mentioned he ll take care of title transfer etc with in 20 days. What ll be my proof of ownership until then?

96 Camry - V4, 215K miles. Drives quite very well. But when the engine revs between 1900-2000, engine is very loud, feels vibrating as a whole and powerless. Once it crosses this range, gets an instance burst of power and becomes quieter. What could be wrong? Just did a complete tune up. Problem existed even before the tune up..I tried fuel injector cleaner and the problem does not seem to go away..any help?

I am looking for tour operator details who does Fairbanks to Prudhoe bay and back. Both ways in bus. Had any one done it this way? All I see is one way bus and otherway by Air, a little expensive.

96 Camry - After market remote system. Panic alarm works from Remote Fob. But when opening/closing the door using remote, only lights flash but no honk or buzz. Is there a seperate horn for this than the main horn? Where would it be located? I never seen this working since I bought this car. So don't know it worked before. Any suggestions?

96 Camry - 190K miles. Engine is a little louder when idling. I know it is not a new engine, yet i am thinking are there any easy to do steps that could make the engine sound better.

I have no problem driving. There is significant vibration in idling.

I treat the car with fuel injector cleaner for every 10K miles.

96 Camry - The steering control feels so easy and feels over responsive. I drove some near new rental cars whose steering feels rock hard as if the car weighs like a truck. That gave a feel of steering being stable. What is likely wrong with my steering control to feel so easy as if the car is lifted up and not on the road?

Power steering pump - overdoing some thing? or problem with rack and pinon missing some stabilizer components?

I hear a kind of power hammer drill sound coming from passenger side of the car at speeds over 40 mph. This sound does not come when i rev up the engine as high as 3000 rpm in parking. I have heard this sound in rear wheel drives having the long drive shaft.

I check oil level and is fine. I don't know if it has anything to do with half shaft. Will it have anything to do with timing components or oil pump? Because this does not happen in parking with engine revved up, it makes me think otherwise.

Mine is a camry front wheel drive.

I have seperated the caliper from pressure line. I drained the oil from caliper. Still, the piston will not go back inside. The problem i had was, vibration at high speeds and brake drum was heating up. Wheel will not rotate easily when lifted up. What is wrong with caliper?
