Trunk opener spring tension?
KIA Spectra. Trunk does not open tall. Remains very low. I am assuming the spring lost its tension. Any suggestions to make it work?

this is usually a piece of spring steel, sometimes they crack, (hard to tell) replacing it is about the only way to repair this item.
