The first salary that I would cut would be his because he'd be fired on the spot. 2nd I'd cut a lot of congress and the worthless slugs holding down positions there plus those that were left cut their salaries by 50%. If it were under my control the economic situation would be repaired in 24 hours.

good points. instead of randomly cutting social security because most of it is a good idea, would you support looking into a reform that would cut your cousins checks and not those that need it? I like it because you know of some people who are defrauding a federal program and as a citizen isn't willing to do anything about it. Not to single you out or anything, one of the problems with government is that once it is involved in something, everybody assumes it has full control/authority. The, "shouldn't the government fix that?" mentality works both ways.

Ive seen independent studies that has shown half of federal spending is waste. Think about this. The Iraq War the past decade has only been 2% of federal spending. That's how much our federal govt spends.
