Hi, dying your hair is bad for it technically. It is bad for your hair to dye it before 6-8 weeks after coloring. I color my hair brown with Blonde Streaks. I go to Sally Beauty Supply. some of them have 40 volume creme Developer. It is hair peroxide. You may want to start out at 20, and then 6-8 weeks later, use 40 Volume and continue. They are really cheap for it. the price starts out at $1.59.

When you get the volume you want, they have color powders or liquids for different colors and you mix what it says and you have the color you need. and it will last 4-5 times longer than box hair dye. don't forget the mixing bottle and gloves.

Box hair dyes don't work just in case you mess up or you don't like the color.

The only way your hair would fall out is if you apply the dye 3 times in a row. So apply it once, and its to light than apply one more and leave on 30 mins. the smell will be strong so turn a fan on.

And for the first week use a really good salon conditioner. and don't forget to use a shamp. & Cond. for color treated hair. ( the color will last longer )
