If yr @ home you may as well stay connected to the mains power. There's not going to be any damage done to the battery or yr lappy. It will be ready for when you go out @ any time then instead of worrying "will I have enough battery time" when you're out & about.

No. If you do, your laptop won't have a full charge anymore. Then it won't last as long if you have to take it somewhere. The problems with overcharging, memory, charge depletion, and overdischarging were solved a decade ago. You don't have to worry about these issues with modern batteries.

Yea or if you have it plugged in A/C. Just take out the battery when it's fully charged. Then put it back in when you need it.
