2. It takes 64 cubs to fill a cubical box that has no top. How many cubes are not touching a side or the bottom of the box?

1. Each boy plays with 24 games with the other 25 boys. since he plays twice the total number of games each boy plays equals 24*2=48. Since there are 24 boys the total number of games played are 25*48=1200
so a total of 1200 games are played
2. The volume of a cube is measured by its (height*width *length)
since the total volume is 64 cubes and since all sides of cube is a squire it must have been measured like this 4*4*4=64
since there is no top that cube should have 5 sides hence the number of cubes touching the sides and bottom are 5*4= 20 cubes
So the number of cubes not touching sides and bottoms are 64-20= 44 cubes
