Why do catholocs lie and deny scritptue?

catholic doctrine of Being Good are pure lies . Read the bible it's by faith you are saved not by works that anyone can boast that they saved themselves.

Jesus God who came in the flesh took on the sins of man .The cross was the taking our punsihment . Read first John if we confess our sins Jesus is just and faithful to forgive ALL our sins.We as indivdiuals can go straight to God and ask . THe catholic doctrine are in completely false and they are Against what Scripture says

Council of Trent: Canons on Justification. They Rejects what scripture says : understand the term use faith alone is in response to the Lutheranism was growing strong in the 1500's. This movement showed in scripture that you were saved by Faith NOT works. The catholic doctrine rejected the term Faith as being impossible .That sa;vation was only by good works which is totally wrong.

CANON 9: "If any one saith, that by faith alone the impious is justified; in such wise as to mean, that nothing else is required to co-operate in order to the obtaining the grace of Justification, and that it is not in any way necessary, that he be prepared and disposed by the movement of his own will; let him be anathema."

What God's word says :

"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him," (John 3:36).

"And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day," (John 6:40).

"And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand," (John 10:28).

"That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord," (Rom. 5:21).

"They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us," (1 John 2:19).

"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God," (1 John 5:13).

Canon 30: "If any one saith, that, after the grace of Justification has been received, to every penitent sinner the guilt is remitted, and the debt of eternal punishment is blotted out in such wise, that there remains not any debt of temporal punishment to be discharged either in this world, or in the next in Purgatory, before the entrance to the kingdom of heaven can be opened (to him); let him be anathema."

What the Truth of God's word says :

"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ," (Rom. 5:1).

10:9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

"O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? 2This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 3Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?" (Gal. 3:1-3).

"Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. 2Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. 3For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law," (Gal. 5:1-3).

"Read the bible it's by faith you are saved not by works that anyone can boast that they saved themselves."

That's a misquote, taken out of context. Here's what Paul wrote in Ephesians 2:

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

He said we were saved by grace, not by faith or by works. We know about God's grace and his saving plans by faith. We were created to do good works.

As Christians, we can't neglect either faith or works. Both faith and works are necessary to respond to God's call, which is what the Catholic Church has always taught, including in the Catholic writings collected by the Church in 400 AD, the New Testament.

    Cheers,

You call yourself a Christian, and yet you attack your Catholic brothers and sisters in Christ on points of doctrine that you clearly don't understand. We believe that the only means of salvation is through the Precious Blood of Jesus, shed on the Cross as the perfect sacrifice for sin.

What we rightly reject is the false and heretical doctrine of "Sola Fide ("by faith alone") and its companion falsehood, "Once saved, always saved." If merely believing that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior was enough to maintain salvation, there would be no need to obey God's commandments. We could do whatever we pleased and yet still be guaranteed a place in Heaven. That contradicts Scripture:

James 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

That is NOT the same as believing in a gospel of works. Without accepting Christ's atoning death, all of our good works are useless. But unless we obey God's commandments, which includes caring for His people, our faith has nothing to sustain it.

Think in terms of a car and gas. A gallon of gas (good works) without a car will do you no good. But if you have the car (salvation) and no gas, you're not going anywhere fast, either.

Next time, why don't you try asking what we really believe instead of accusing us of not following the Bible and being liars? I also suggest that you turn to God and ask His forgiveness for hating and slandering your fellow Christians.

I John 3:15 says, "Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him."

You may be in much more danger of losing your soul than the Catholics that you've accused.

<<catholic doctrine of Being Good are pure lies >>

Saying that this is Catholic doctrine is a lie.

We are not saved by faith alone, and the Bible does not support such a notion. Justification, is not salvation. Redemption is not salvation.

We are justified by faith and redeemed by the Blood of Christ. But this alone does not guarantee a person salvation. We must cooperate with the work of Christ on the cross and live our lives in his service. Works are a necessary expression of faith.

The Church has never taught that we are saved by works. Being a good person, doing good things, cannot gain salvation for anyone. But once we have realized that Jesus is our savior and accepted his sacrifice for our sins, we begin a journey of transformation from the old to the new, and any works done are the works of Christ within us.

"Why do catholocs lie and deny scritptue?" ---- never good to start off with an insult.

"Read the bible it's by faith you are saved not by works that anyone can boast that they saved themselves." ---- On the contrary, read James 2:24 and you will see otherwise.

"Read first John if we confess our sins Jesus is just and faithful to forgive ALL our sins." ---- Jesus also tells his Apostles to go out an forgive sins... how would this be done, if others do not confess to them? Jesus did not hand out blanket forgiveness...

"This movement showed in scripture that you were saved by Faith NOT works." --- The book of James tells us... "Faith without works is dead"... St. Paul tells us..."If I have faith to move mountains, but no charity, if benefits me nothing"

"That salvation was only by good works which is totally wrong." ---- I entirely agree with you... and this is why we Catholics KNOW that we cannot do a single thing to merit a single second in heaven. However, GOD does tell us to obey his commandments... So it's not just about faith and you are done...

"If any one saith, that by faith alone the impious is justified; in such wise as to mean, that nothing else is required to co-operate in order to the obtaining the grace of Justification, and that it is not in any way necessary, that he be prepared and disposed by the movement of his own will; let him be anathema." ---- I agree and therefore faith is just the start, and not the end. Faith in itself will not allow you into the Kingdom. The bible states that there will be many who believe themselves to Christ, but Christ will not believe himself unto them"

"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him," ---- Correct, and when you read the entire book in context, you will see that this is GOD's response to Nicodemus who states that one must partake in the law of circumcision in order to be saved. This is GOD refuting that...

"And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day," ---- Please refer to my point above about GOD not believing HIMSELF unto those so called believers.

"And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand," ---- This does not justify once saved always saved, as we know that one can fall out of grace.

"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ," ---- Justification is not the same thing as Salvation. You might want to learn the difference first...

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." ---- Open your bible... "As my father has sent me, so I too send you. Whosoever sin you forgive are forgiven them, and whosoever sins you retain are retained"....

"Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. 2Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. 3For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law," ---- Again, this is speaking against the Jewish tradition of circumcision (works of the law), and does not take anything away from the fact that Jesus says... "Unless you are reborn in water and spirit, you cannot see the Kingdom".... He does not speak of JUST having FAITH ALONE as being enough...

Ding Ding.... Schooling session is over...

Let's address this matter of lying and see where the root of lying stems from. Hopefully, this will give you a sense of who such ones are really adhering to, following and actually worshiping and praising when conforming to lies.

John 8:42-47: "Jesus said to them: “If God were YOUR Father, YOU would love me, for from God I came forth and am here. Neither have I come of my own initiative at all, but that One sent me forth. [v43] Why is it YOU do not know what I am speaking? Because YOU cannot listen to my word. [v44] YOU are from YOUR father the Devil, and YOU wish to do the desires of YOUR father. That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own disposition, because he is a liar and the father of [the lie]. [v45] Because I, on the other hand, tell the truth, YOU do not believe me. [v46] Who of YOU convicts me of sin? If I speak truth, why is it YOU do not believe me? [v47] He that is from God listens to the sayings of God. This is why YOU do not listen, because YOU are not from God.”

So, when such "religous folks" lie regarding the scriptures, twist them, take them out of context, they are really worshiping and following the "father of the lie," Satan the Devil. Let's continue on about this, shall we?

Clearly, there are many gods. Some, as we have seen, are named in the Bible. Yet, people who saw Jehovah’s power long ago exclaimed: “Jehovah is the true God! Jehovah is the true God!” (1 Kings 18:39) Another god, however, also has power. The Bible says: “The god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not.” (2 Corinthians 4:4, King James Version)

The night before his death, Jesus three times warned his disciples about this god, calling him “the ruler of this world.” Jesus said this powerful ruler, or god, “will be cast out.” (John 12:31; 14:30; 16:11) Who is this god, and what is the world over which he is the ruler?

He is none other than the rebel angel, Satan the Devil. How do we know? The Bible explains that when Satan tempted Jesus, Satan showed him “all the kingdoms of the world and their glory, and he said to him: ‘All these things I will give you if you fall down and do an act of worship to me.’” (Matthew 4:8, 9) This offer would not have been a temptation at all if Satan had been offering Jesus what Satan did not possess. Indeed, the apostle John declared: “The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one." (1 John 5:19)

Recall that Jesus promised: “The ruler of this world will be cast out.” (John 12:31) In fact, this world, or system of things, along with its ruler, will be removed, as foretold by the apostle John when he stated: “The world is passing away.” However, John added: “He that does the will of God remains forever.” (1 John 2:17) Let us examine now the glorious purposes of the only true God and how we can benefit from them.

How many people of great faith didn't show works? What about James 2:20,"Faith w/o works is dead." Please don't think that you get a free ticket to heaven just because you have faith. Jesus also preached charity, love, forgiveness, evangelizing, following the commandments... He wouldn't have spent his time talking about all those things if he didn't want you to practice it. Having Jesus as Lord and Savior is just the beginning.

OK, I only got as far as the fourth paragraph and then couldn't be bothered to read anymore - so I'll just answer on what I read.

Here's your answer to your second paragraph: "Are all of our sins forgiven once and for all when we become Christians? Not according to the Bible. Scripture nowhere states that our future sins are forgiven; instead, it teaches us to pray, "And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors" (Matt. 6:12).

The means by which God forgives sins after baptism is confession: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9)...(You can read the rest of it here: http://www.catholic.com/library/Confession.asp)

To paragraph three: Protestism first came round because of the 'S.N.A.P.S' abuses that were being committed by Catholic Priests - Protestism only came round later when Martin Luther spoke up about the abuses. And THEN the thing about 'faith alone and not good works' came about.

Catholics know they will be rewarded in Heaven for their good works. Our Lord Himself said: ``For the Son of man . . . will render to every man according to his works.'' (Matt. 16:27). Catholics believe, following the Apostle Paul, that ``every man shall receive his own reward, according to his own labor.'' (1 Cor. 3:8). ``For God is not unjust, that he should forget your work, and the love which you have shown in his name, you who have ministered, and do minister to the saints.'' (Heb. 6:10). ``I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. As to the rest, there is laid up for me a crown of justice, which the Lord the just judge will render to me in that day: and not only to me, but to them also that love his coming.'' (2 Tim. 4:7-8). (This is from: http://www.columbia.edu/cu/augustine/a/faq-cc.html...

I hope this answer your question, if it doesn't, then basically: Catholics do NOT lie and deny scripture.

Me thinks you do not know what a lie is.....

To be a lie, one must know what is true and then intentionally mislead others by act or speach to avoid some consequence.

There is no indication that they are deliberately misleading people. They may have another understanding of Scripture. They may have a different interpretation. But we don't see there a deliberate misleading of people or persons.

What you'd need to show is that at one time they believed differently. OR some official Church document which indicates they know they are wrong, but have alterior motives in perpetuating what they themselves know is not true.

Furthermore, innocent until proven guilty, would mean that merely saying "they make moeny off of it" is not enough to conclude they are lieing. They may still be very sincere in their faith, even if you disagree with it.

So, in closing, for it to be LIE, you must prove malice or deceit on their part. Otherwise we should assume they are sincere in their convictions.

    RIGHT?

    ______________________

    ::EDIT::

NOW, if you ask a Catholic and they tell you they are sincere... you should take them on their word.

IF, however, you continue to say they are lieing, though you have no proof and IN FACT, have been specifically told otherwise, then you are not proceeding on good faith, but with alterior motives.

Such ulterior motives can be viewed as a type of lieing, because Catholic individuals have told you that they are sincere in their faith and you can not prove otherwise. To perpetuate your opinion of others as fact.. is, in and of itself, a form of malicious intent.

As a Catholic.. I am telling you that myself and my bretheren are sincere in our beliefs and are not lieing, though you may personally think we are wrong.

So if you continue to claim otherwise about us.. you are not proceeding in "good faith" and are therefore being malicious.

God Bless and Shalom! (peace in Hebrew)
