Who do you like Meg Whitman or Jerry Brown as Governor
Jerry Brown also appointed Rose Bird as Calif. Suprem Court Justice. A lawer who had never been a judge anywhere.
Argueable the worest Court Justice ever.
The Gov Mansion he would not live in still had staff and up keep. The Limo was still always available. He left Oakland in debt. And a mess.
I remember Gov Brown. He was no peach the first time around.

Jerry has a history of working in California government. I remember him in the 70s and he was so thrifty with money he would not live in the governor's mansion (who can blame him, I dont want to live in Sacto either). He is not a spendthrift. He is very bright, has progressive ideas, and is close to the people. He was mayor of Oakland, the biggest African American population and is currently getting credit for hauling those crooks in Bell, Calif. off to jail since he is the Attorney General. More than that, he was Governor of California already.

Brown.
Jerry Brown has a strong record of effective government leadership on the State level.
Meg Whitman does not understand governance and has fundamentally flawed intentions for the office . . . That are largely identical to the actions that caused California's present social and economic woes. Voting for Whitman would be making an extremely poor choice for

The mere fact that Meg Whitman has spent millions and millions of her own money makes me wonder what her real motive is in wanting to be the governor of California.
