The movie called Let Me In..?

Isn't this movie strangely similar to the movie called Let The Right One IN which was made in Sweden and released about 2 years ago? Check out the previews of both thanks.

    Its an American remake of that movie, thats why it looks the same to you. Nice job, Sherlock. Even the imdb page mentions this.

    Yes, it is a remake of Let the Right One In. I do not know why they Americanized it since there was no culture barriers. I can understand them Americanizing A Tale of two sisters for example. Let the Right one In is not even a dated movie. Do they believe Americans can not read subtitles? The language was not that big of an issue (it did not sound alien to me since it was a European language). I suppose it will have more action but it will also be the same (even judging by the clips they now have). There probably will be 1980's images, music and popular culture references throughout the movie since it is taking place in the 1980s.

    It's an American remake, for some reason film makers think Americans can't read subtitles.
