Ever wonder if your right hand knows what your left hand is doing?

I am ambidextrous, but my hands often offer up a slightly dyslexic bent.

Been there? Done that?

Why B&A? Because it's clear that the brightest and most creative folks frequent this category.

This is the first time I've ever asked a question, so let's make it a good experience.

Now have at it people!

Update:

@Everyone: I am delighted by your responses and impressed with your creativity, so thanks for playing! Many people like to think of their bodies as temples. Mine is more like an amusement park.

Gotta hand it to you, this is hands down one heckofa fun question and I sure wish I actually did have something bright and creative to contribute. As a writer, I depend as much on my hands (and this keyboard) as I do my brain. My one lament is how seldom hand and brain work together in some semblance of harmony and coordination, especially when I so want to be clever.

So, instead, a couple of quotes come to mind.

Considering the artist and musician that you are, the first one I thought of is: "Where the spirit does not work with the hand there is no art." ~Leonardo da Vinci

But, okay, since this is posted in B&A, maybe this one's more appropriate: “Writing is not necessarily something to be ashamed of, but do it in private and wash your hands afterwards.” ~Robert A. Heinlein (you sci-fi fans should recognize him)

Oh! Then there's this little jewel from that well known genius of handthropology Lily Tomlin: “We have reason to believe that man first walked upright to free his hands for masturbation.”

I know, I know, but somebody had to take the cheap shot on this one and you know how Lily Tomlin is.

My right hand seems to think it's bright when in reality it exhibits both immature and clueless behavior. It's become a major whiner, always complaining about the relaxation the left hand is enjoying while it has to do all the hard work like chopping and writing.

Here's a little example of what I've had to put up with recently:

Right Hand, "Look, this is supposed to be R&R time, why am I doing all the work?"

    *Left Hand ignores comment.*

Right Hand getting frustrated at the nonresponse whines, "Why is that one allowed to rest, while I'm expected to work, work, work?"

    The left keeps ignoring the right, until the right does something like spell beer, bear (longhand, naturally) or lump, limp (typing). Then the left lashes out, mocking and generally upsetting the right. This makes matters worse, as the right gets anxious and begins misspelling everitjymg;;;

My left hand isn't helping things, either, with its superior attitude, berating the right for how little creativity it possesses. We've come to a fine state on my end.

    Fun question.

Well, they simply MUST be in cahoots, because when one of them decides to cramp and freeze up, the other just HAS to join in the "fun." Then, the feet get jealous, so I wind up looking like of of those wax figures in a museum, except my lips are twitching like Mr. Ed trying to eat peanut butter !

Does that even make ANY sense ?

    * Oh yeah -- and I'd give my left arm to be ambidextrous !

I think that my right hand is pretty intelligent. It listens to NPR.

Neither one of us trusts the left hand, though. He's a shifty bastard full of lusts and deceit... let's just say that the one time we caught him "in flagrante delicto" amongst the condiments and vegetables means we'll never look at refrigerators the same way ever again...

We're a little resentful - he always manages to show up at the get-togethers and social events we go to, even when he's uninvited, and man, he's a real party animal...

He's caused us a lot of trouble... but what can we say? We're kind've attached to the bastard....
