iPhone data plan help?

I have AT&T and want to get an iPhone. Is there any way that I can jailbreak or unlock it so I can use the internet without having to pay the extra $30 dollars a month?

    good news! AT&T has a data limit (sounds bad), but that means they have significantly cheaper data plans. they are:

    200MB per month: $15/month

    2GB per month: $25/month.

    so if you are a light data user you only have to pay half of what you expected to.

    but if you still dont want to pay that, you can always buy an unlocked iPhone from ebay or craigslist and insert your own SIM into it
