it might not have been comodo. It sounds like something detected that you installed a firewall and is blocking you now. Try running Malware Bytes antimalware and Spybot Search and Destroy.

Ncpa.cpl
Local area connection> Right click> Propperties.
Internet Protocol Tcp/ip> Propperties.
Check for obtain Ip Adress Automaticaly, same for dns.
Check in the network connections to have the 1394 and the LAN connections only if there is any other Mention it so that we can determine if that is a change made by the firewall. you might need to delete that.
That should restore settings to what they where also the browser settings might have been altered as well so you might need to restore the browser settings to defaults.
if it still doesnt work and if your moms computer aint a built one you might be able to uninstall the NIC. that will delete all the current Network card settings and restore as defaults after a reboot.
But if the computer didnt come with the software the NIC will not reinstall itself during the reboot and you will have to download the drivers from another computer then install them using a memory stick or usb card.
THE NIC uninstall is a last resort so dont start with that.

You forgot to describe the problem. What makes you say it "wont go on the internet"? What works and what doesn't work? What error messages do you get? Why do you think the IP has been changed?
Wired or wireless? If wired, does the port light come on? If wireless, can you detect the wireless network and connect to it?

un-install comodo firewall, as im going to be frank with you, firewalls dont do **** unless you are running what the pentagon is, which even then is fairly weak and hackable. do a complete system restore, called a destructive recovery, and also disconnect your modem and router. Get the OS re-installed and your drivers from any CDs you got with your stuff. Then reconnect your modem and router. and check your ip via cmd. If this doesnt work, call your ISP and get them to manually set a IP for you.
