Typical Video Sizes by Length? (HD and otherwise)?
I'll be getting my first DSLR camera within a week or so (it's, honestly, my first ACTUAL camera), and one of the things I have been trying to investigate is how large some videos can be.
I was wondering what's the typical size for a 1 minute video shot in HD and a 1 minute video not, and also whether post-production color-correction or anything like that can change the typical size.

What do you mean by 'size'? The space the video will occupy on your hard disc?

It depends on the type of compression and the amount of movement.
The 550D, 50D, 7D and the 5D Mark II have 12 minute/4GB maximum file sizes for full HD.
So I'd assume from those averages that every minute would be about 333mb.
Color correction can change the size but it again depends on compression. If you use ProRes then the clip would be much larger whereas if you use h.264 then it will be small. You could have the clip compressed into the same size as the original.
