What are some good questions to ask my student teacher during our first meeting?
I am getting a student teacher soon (elementary music) and I want to make sure I provide them with the best experience possible. I am sure my PT will have plenty of questions for me, but I know there are a lot of things they could tell me that would be useful to know. For example:
1. What classes/topics do you think are your teaching strengths? Weaknesses?
2. What is your philosophy of teaching?
3. What do you most want to gain from this experience?

If I have a concern regarding some aspect of your work, aside from of course doing this in a confidential setting, how can I best address this matter to you in a manner that you would be comfortable with?
