So how bad would it come out if I did this...?

A recipe calls for 4 eggs and I only have 3. If i omit one will it affect it much? It's for a chocolate cake.

    Most cake recipes only call for 3 eggs. Unless you are making Angel food cake, then you need at least a half dozen. It will be fine. Beat it on high for several minutes until the batter is really light and fluffy, that will boost it up.
