The Final Delusional Revision by TB, Esq. Should I keep my mental health appt. this morn?

What eyes see sometimes

does no good for the mind--

then comes a phenomenon,

at a perfectly troubled time.

A rare event happens

when the wind is

calm and the sky

is clear and light blue;

I stare to that old tree

standing--an ugly statue.

Through the chaos

of branches and leaves,

rays of light begin to shine

and shimmer through.

I believe I see

through the tree

to a thallium

ethereal eternity.

Patterns and shapes

of blue creeps

through the leaves--

celestiality searching

and finding me, bathing

me of memory.

All I see, thankfully,

is the silhouette

of the tree, when

nothing but cold blue

light warms to turn a

heavenly brilliant white.

As the sun aligns at

the perfect time in

the clear blue sky,

I can and may see

anything I wish to see.

This brilliant illusion

is gone too soon for

my troubled mind.

It's my own selfish

delusion--a waking dream

to escape, if just for

a moment, from what

these eyes have seen.
