Is this an appropriate definition of the contemporary term for "Political Correctness"?

"Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Political Correctness is simply a way to stop freedom of speech.

It is NOT a way to "sensitive" to others. We have that, and it is called good manners.

If you speak out against things you are called names; homophobe, racist, bigot, sexist, etc. No-one likes to be called names especially when the names are so nasty and can and have costs people their jobs.

So, those who think giving out condoms in public middle schools is a bad idea simply shut up rather than risk being called a "Right Wing Christian Zealot".

If you think marriage is for a man and a woman only, you are called a homophobe, so you simply do not say anything.

If you think Obama's policies are bad for the U.S., you are racist, and if THAT gets around, you lose your job, so you shut up.

People are wising up, though. Thank God.
