How come majority of Americans want the new health care bill to do more?
"A new AP poll finds that Americans who think the law should have done more outnumber those who think the government should stay out of health care by 2-to-1."
Every single poll out there showed that the majority of people wanted a Public Option, meaning they wanted an alternative to private insurance which keeps jacking up their rates.
The majority of people hate this health care bill because it doesn't do enough.

There were only 3 Polls I read of, where these figures were made to stand out. Big problem is, the "criteria" these polls used, were not released. That makes the results a bit less credible, since they
could have polled only Democrats, or farmers or homeless people.
And "how" the question is phrased, makes a rather significant difference.
Polls are "not" the source for the public's attitudes nor have they been for the last 3 - 5 years.
Perhaps since it is already "law", people want something in it they will benefit from.

Not to totally trash your rant or anything but when 63% of the country doesn't think the government can do a better job than the private sector at health are.. you're going to have a hard time selling that.

Because "do more" includes EVERY conceivable change - specifically including elimination of the Democrat-demanded laws that caused the problems in the first place.

All the polls I have seen say the opposite. Like this CNN one!
