can work sack me if i get a sick note ?
ok ive worked for my company for nearly 5 years ever since i came back off mat leave and went part time it seems like there doing everything to get rid of me! im under so much pressure that all i do in work is cry !
ive took one period of sickness off (lasted two days ) in 12 mths but now i think i may need to get a sickline for depression stress aniexty i cry going to work in work i take hot flushes just getting close to the door avoid everyone in the place my patner says im getting very tempermental snapping at the tinest thing i cant sleep but im terrified of getting a sickline incase they find a way to sack me because of it i need some input form you guys !

to sliver just to make you aware i do have a disabilty and the term hanicap is quite offensive my disabilty does not affect my work my stress levels are very high at the moment jes you work your arese off you get put down you dont work you get out down wtf
why cant you guys do wat tin good done give advice in away thats not hurtful or rude but to the point ! (although work has stressed me not the other way around i had to walk out when my son was rushed to hospital and all they done was harrass me as soon as i left my son wasnt breathing properly and work wasnt interested wanted to know if i was going to be in the afternoon and if i wasnt i was in serious trouble !

Sounds like you should find another job if it is that bad. That is if there are any.
Here in the colonies, you cannot fire someone for being sick. If you do, they can sue and win.

Here's a newsflash for you...
A note from the doctor only works in school. In the real world, it's only worth the paper that it's printed on.
The only way you can't be fired for being "ill" is if your condition is classified as a handicap or disability. Then the company has to make "reasonable accommodations" for your disability.

i understand where you are coming from, but you really need to learn how to deal with stress in a much better way
in a way you have made your self ill
if your Doctor advises you to take time off then do so
