Is it fair that all of the republican presidential hopefuls have their very own "news" network?

(except Mitt Romney). Has this ever happened before? Unlimited free ad campaigning for a political party?

It's really only going to be a problem if they don't get out of their contracts after they officially declare...it still looks bad though...

You've got it a bit crossed up. Many republican candidates are contractually forbidden to appear on any other stations. They are the ones missing out, not the democrats. There was nothing about unlimited free campaigning, at all, even though Obama seems to get that from several stations.

You must obviously be referring to ABC, NBC, and CBS who would be considered true "prostitutes" if they were a little more literal when providing "lip-service" to the President! But, unlike the Prez, none of the "contributers" on that "unnamed channel" are lawful "candidates" so are therefore "free" (you know what that word means, don't you?) to be paid anyway legal to be paid just like any other PRIVATE CITIZEN... Meanwhile Harry Reid buys votes in Sparks with mayoral contributions of $5000 to Gino Martino and a hunk of Stimulus-bribes to build bike paths and resurface, resurfaced roadways to buy Northern Nevada votes... and not a whisper from the left!

Don't be a whiner. These people, if they run for office, will have to quit their jobs. Just like democrats to make a issue out of something that is not an issue.

Why don't politicians have to quit their jobs if they decide to run for a office they currently don't hold? So they can be paid to be in Congress but spend 90% of their time campaigning. Isn't that was Obama did?

Why didn't you complain about that?

Yea, it must suck for the democrats they will have to fight over the other six.

And yes it has happened before (2008 to be specific) and continues to this day with obama on TV on almost a daily basis campaigning.

It happened in 2008 with 24/7 obama channel on Dish Network besides his 24/7 campaigning on cnn msnbc and others

Versus the exclusive deal that Obama made with ABC during his run for office?
