Is this an appropriate definition of the contemporary term for "Political Correctness"?
"Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

You could use the same definition for conservatives "moral values" which is just political correctness by another name but with a bigger desire to inject it into the legal system.

Correctness requires concise definition of terms and strict adherence to those terms. The requirements of politics make the term an oxymoron.
That being said, I agree with the other poster that you sound like a special, ambiguous creature that just wants to use potty language.

Political correctness is such a great issue. Because right wingers believe it's a serious talking point. Which is great for me - since the more we can distract them from focus on empire building the better. So yea let's all talk about and focus on political correctness.
Infringing on your rights to be racist, sexist or discriminatory in public forums. How terribly tragic.

No, it's a definition you prefer because to acknowledge that anyone might have any control over a certain aspect of your behavior is bad. You accept some societal rules without a problem. For some reason, this one bothers you. Perhaps if you looked into the reasons(fear of "others", racism, etc.) you feared this rule, you might begin to achieve some wisdom. You have no fear of a rule that says you must wear clothes in public at all times, but you fear one that requires you to acknowledge another's feelings about certain topics.

Aww... are you butthurt because someone thinks you *shouldn't* be screaming slurs? Do you wistfully remember the days when you could address someone by a simple slur rather than having to call them by name? Do you miss the days when sheer rudeness and misanthropy were warmly welcomed?

So you seriously don't get it? BS you're playing dumb. Not to mention you have like no sense of humor at all. Pathetic.

Sounds correct to me.

Being politically incorrect is offending anyone except white conservative Christians, if you offend them, then you are a derogatory Nazi who hates America. FACT.
