As for his supposed landslide. While it's true that he took a large majority of the electoral votes, he only won in the General Election by a rather slim 2 - 3% of the popular vote, not the landslide his ardent supporters claim.

If you want to see what a landslide looks like, go to any website and look at the election results for the 1980, Carter vs Reagan totals. As I recall it, Carter carried no more than 3 States and his home State wasn't among them, now THAT'S a LANDSLIDE.

The MAJORITY of Americans elected President Obama and the Democratic Congress in an OVERWHELMING LANDSLIDE in 2008 (365 to 173 in the Electoral College), and the MAJORITY ARE VERY HAPPY with the job they are doing.

Yes. In less than two years, he refocused the War on Terror back on Afghanistan and the terrorists who attacked us on 9/11, enacted health care reform, and got our economy out of recession. Yes, our economy is still pretty rotten, but Obama and the Democrats weren't the ones who ruined it.

I think he has accomplished more than I thought he would and has done a good job in a difficult time.
