I think that Bush tried to get along. Serious mistake. I was genuinely motivated to vote for him in 2000 and was left angry and disillusioned upon his departure.

I voted for him because I thought he could restore respect to the presidency, and in that he was great. He just turned into a democrat and started spending like a drunken sailor. He had a veto pen, use it to set the agenda.

I find it hard to believe that they gave him such a high rating since most of them abandoned him at the end of his administration it must be they forget what he did to them and this country
