    Listen to them.

*Tell them* that you are going to listen to them.

Try to understand the point of view and where it has come from.

*Do not* assume your view is the right one and try to get them to see it.

Absolutely not as a start point.

Without compromising your values and perspective, see if there is anything in what they think or feel that you can agree with.

Start from somewhere near there, I suggest.

The feeling that no-one is listening is a major cause of anger.

We need to understand and appreciate the fact that we can not do anything. We can not do anything that is good or bad. Only God is the Doer, we are but His chosen mediums, through whom God does what He wants to do. It is only our ego, that helps us with the feeling, that we can do so much, or we can not do even this much. The fact remains , that there is nothing that we can do, and there is nothing that we can not do. Only condition being that whether God wants us to do or not to do certain things.

Similarly in the case of helping someone, who is very angry at God. If God chooses you to be His medium, in helping someone who is angry at God. God will choose you and you will be a medium to help someone who is very angry at God, but that will happen only if God chooses you to be His medium, in this particular act of helping someone.

So, stop being egoistic and wait for the moment, when God will choose you to help someone who is very angry at God. Please don't be disappointed as well, if God chooses someone else to do the honours. The idea is to help someone, and not to ensure that you only helps. The help is important, who God chooses to help, is God's business, let us not be unduly bothered about it. You anyways can not do much about it. Only God will Do it. He is the only Doer.

You can't. People tend to be stubborn. Just keep on showing them God's love. Don't push anything. And remember- God waits for us to come to Him, and He is always readily available. I believe we should show the same attitude towards our friends and loved ones.

Give them a chance to cool down, don't preach at them or the adverse effect will happen :)

tell them what jesus did for them, they have no right to be mad at someone who loved them and died for them. if u want them to listen, i always tell them what jesus did for them in a way that they can feel what we felt bout him. like this" one day a father and a child were going to the bank. someone at the bank was calling the child names because they ruined there fun(get creative for what the guy did). and then, a robber with a gun came in the bank, and took the guy hostage to get ll the money. but then the father told the robber to kill his son instead of anyone in the bank." jesus loved us no matter how much we tortured him

    hope this helps
