Interesting... I think it is all blown out of proportion because the people doing so are just hoping that they will fail. I think if you look hard enough and try hard enough you can make anything and anyone look sinister. It is similar to politics. I never thought that mindframe should creep into football but it has - if their team sucks rather than focusing on them getting better and living through the rotten years, some fans instead take pleasure in dragging other teams down. It is really childish and actually in my opinion pathetic.

@ Flanders - while what you say is true and you don't have to get arrested to be a headache, the Jets don't have anyone comparable to Bill Romanowski, Terrell Owens, Rasheed Wallace, or Dennis Rodman. With all due respect, those types of comparisons are the very things that make me say things are blown out of proportion. As for Rex Ryan anybody who's focus is tough defense and smashmouth football while sticking up for his guys and believing they are the team to beat is alright in my book.
