If you loaned a guy a couple bucks and he ended up buying a multi-million dollar ticket, would you expect half?

    If he used the money I loaned him to buy the ticket then yes, I would expect something, but certaintly not half of it. That's just greedy.

    Yeah or atleast a 1/3, since after all, it was my money that brought that guy the ticket.

    would be nice if he paid back the loan if you wanna make a fuss over a couple bucks, but no i wouldn't expect anything.. that's his luck

    now you are sounding greedy. this is all geared to an earlier promise to share,he only owes you the couple of bucks you lent him in the first place

    Did you ask before or after he bought the ticket? If you didnt well, your loss. Ill bet he can pay you back though

    No. I'd settle for the amount I lent him, and maybe a steak dinner would be nice...I mean it ain't as if he can't afford it now, right?

    Not really. I would expect he would be generous about it but technically all he would owe you is the money you lent him.

    no i would expect my money back but considering all my friends are cheap i know I'm not going to get it back.
