It's hard to tell, because those pretty girls who flirt with their male customers, usually get bigger and better tips.

There is flirting and then flirting. One is just to have fun, and hope for a great tip, the other is perhaps she likes the guy, and is letting him know, she likes him.

It depends on the waitress and the guy. True, some waitresses flirt for tips. True, some guys are obnoxious, and the waitresses don't want to talk to them. But, If she hangs out and starts a conversation, if she meets his eyes, and smiles a lot, seems a little clumsy because she is looking at the guy more than what she's doing, and pays more attention to the guy more than the others at the table...and/or she tells him to call, or text, or slips him her number, Then yeah, she's interested.

Waitresses just want good tips. The rest is details. Yes, they would smile but it means a better

tip, Yes, they would serve because it is their job. Now, lots of men...smile and make a flirt a

business...specially when they are surrounded by friends..and want to show of...That is a no
