sperm lives in your body for up to 5 days so you could get preg any time up to a week after intercourse but this is still to early for a test as your body still has to produce the preg hormone. test around the time of you period or a week later no medicine can change the sex of you baby the female egg is either impregnanted by a male or female sperm so you cant change that. and no they can not tell the sex of you baby by you pulse usally you find out at 20 weeks preg sometime 16 depending on how clear the scan and they can not tell your blood group unless they take a blood sample :):)
