Is the Socialist Party masqueraded as the Democratic Party to appeal mainstream independent voters?

Without a doubt...That is why they keep changing their names from Liberals to Progressives...every time the Independents figure out who they are; they change their name to something else....They called themselves Liberals to hide under the illusion that they were for Social Justice. They was found out and Reagan kick their butt...Then they changed it Progressives that they were progressive in thinking and was ready to move America in a more progressive approach which mean socialist programs and entitlement programs and the Tea Party is fixing to kick their butt again...but the message has always been the same....anti-capitalism, anti-God and racist toward white people....

I know that after the end of the cold war, socialist activities have been decreased significantly with the fall of Soviet Union. Consequently, the Western Capitalism has found an opportunity to spread out the ideology of democracy especially in Eastern Europe (Poland, Czech Republic Republic, Bulgaria etc) and Africa where the democratic culture is now deeply ingrained in the mind of the people. As a result, new and subsequent governments feel the pressure to set up democratic system to attract people to vote massively even though some of the democratic elections are not transparent. In any case, formerly socialist regimes have now lured independent voters to participate in the democratic process necessary for the political stability.

Well, basically here it is.

The Democratic party, as in the democrats in office and most of the house of representatives, are mainly run no longer by the Libertarian belief, but rather the progressive belief. The Progressives' are ones that want to radically change this nation.

200 years ago, our founding fathers understood the threat, and made the consititution so that it could no be changed by such other powers. Thus, as the progressives see it, the only way to change the nation is to completely undermine and go behind the contitution. This is why you Conservatives raised the question of why President Obama held the National Healthcare meetings behind closed doors, without any public opinion, which is stated in the constitution to be dire to keep America stable.

But of course, the media is primarily liberal so they didnt addres the factor.

The Democratic party is no longer the Democratic party, it is the socialist progressive party.

Dems no longer have a party. The socialists are named the Progressive party. Who are the ruling class of libbers.

I believe socialists pass themselves off as liberals.

Polling trends indicate independents are leaning right of center, I.E. tea party .

So you are saying that socialism appeals to independent voters?

The answer is no.

Almost all of our national pride generates from our social endeavors. NASA and our military are two good examples. Small doses of socialism has helped to make America great.
