The Ark of the Covenant originally held the book of the law, manna and Aarons staff?

But when Solomon moved the Ark to the new temple, the Bible states that all it contained was the book of the law. What happened to the manna and staff?

It also had Asherah's post, or pole. It was a corner post of the original tent version of the Holy of Holies.

During the Jewish exodus from Egypt, Moses got the staff to preform many miracles.

and during their 40 day and 40 night flee through the desert God sent the manna to fall from heaven to feed the Jews.

Perhaps they used the staff for fuel to cook their goat in its mothers milk.....but then they realized that was against one of the ten commandments, so instead of the goat, they ate tha manna....:) Sounds Logical to me....espcially since the goat commandment is the one that is in the ark.

26“Bring the best of the firstfruits of your soil to the house of the Lord your God.

“Do not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.”

27Then the Lord said to Moses, “Write down these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.” 28Moses was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights without eating bread or drinking water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant—the Ten Commandments. Exodus 34:26-28

Presumably somebody ATE the manna, and used the staff to LEAN on. But isn't CHRIST the manna who comes down and gives LIFE to the world. And he is the one we really can lean on. Oh, but that's "another religion."

The law and the prophets [WERE] until John (the Baptist, aka Elijah),

but since that time the kingdom of God (grace and truth) is preached,

and every MAN (of babe--> child--> man) presseth into it: Luke 16:16

God said: let us make MAN (not babe, nor child).

His Christ is the head of every MAN (not babe, nor child).

Blessedness of man: Blessed the MAN to whom the Lord will not impue sin.

Born again: incorruptible, is for MAN (not milky way babe, nor know not child).

    A (know not) child differeth nothing from a (know not) servant; Galatians 4;

And neither a child (servant: slave) nor lord of such know nots enters KofG.

So, can we move on from such childish Law Law to Grace is for MAN kind.

When I became a MAN (Grace), I put away such CHILDish things: Laws.

For by the using of laws all perish... perish the thought; But

By JC's grace and truth none perish... endure unto that end:

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

You tell me and we'll both know.

The Bible is mute on that subject.
