Why is it when someone creates a question on here?
And direct that question at a subgroup, people admonish them for purportedly generalizing the entire group to that subgroup?
@ Rev.
Oh but they do, for example someone posts about how literal interpretations of the bible are absurd and several Christians act as though he called all Christians idiots.
Sorry if you cannot understand the way I write naturally, Mike.
@ BEX
I know, I'm pointing out that people do this and then responders pretend that they didn't so they can ignore the real question or argument.

Well, if you direct a question to Next Thursday at Noonist I don't see why anyone who is a Next Thursday at Around Tenist would object. I mean, that would just be crazy.

I don't know I can only admonish you for purportedly generalizing the entire group to this subgroup?

Easily avoided! Just put some or a lot of or suchlike and already you are not generalising. I don't like all atheist questions as I am not all atheists... Generalisation is rude although most of us tend to do it now and again.
