Alabama yeah or nay ?

Alabama is off to a slow start, I admit. They have shown a great deal of resolve in winning this year, I believe they have the makeup to be a repeat BCS Champion again. Who is with me on this?

And what happened to that "loyal, obnoxious, degenerate" USC fan go the last couple of years?

Alabama has a solid running game to say the least and a good passing attack. The questions arise on the defense side of the ball. The front line is very good at pressuring the QB and the linebackers are good at rushing and dropping in short coverage. When you get to the secondary you really start to get you question marks about Alabama. They have a lot of injuries and some very young talent. I think if they survive the next couple of game, they will have a great chance to repeat not just the SEC Champs, but also has the National Champs as well.

I don't get the slow start thing. They have blown away the teams they should have and dominated a ranked Penn State. The game against Arkansas was a top ten team at their house and Bama shut them down completely in the second half only allowing 3 points and picking off Heisman hopeful, Mallet, twice in the fourth quarter while coming back from a 13 point margin to win a tough SEC game on the road. Not too shabby. They lead the NCAA in scoring defense, already have 8 picks and completely shut people down on 3rd down. Their defense is quite good actually. They are not as solid as last year, but for a young secondary, they are playing pretty damn good. The offense is diverse and Ingram and Richardson are nearly impossible for teams to stop.

Florida has major weaknesses on defense and their offense only came alive last week with the insertion of that freshman kid into the Tebow-package. This plays to Bama's strengths because they are a run-stopping team. The have the front seven to stop the run and it will be up to Brantley to beat them through the air, which I just don't see.

It will be a good game and I don't see a blow-out, but Bama wins at home in relatively easy fashion.

The injury bug caught them a little early not really bad but the grueling schedule and the amount of hard hitting SEC defenses may take it's toll gotta be honest Florida, LSU, and Auburn's defenses are as good or better than Alabama's and to get through the rest of the year healthy may be a hard ting to do with even a brutal running attack, you see Ingram could still be healthy and so could Richardson but the big uglies Linemen may go down. And if you don't think that may make a difference don't be surprised if the Winner of the SEC may have 2 Losses.

Florida's defense isn't good enough to stop Ingram and their offense won't score nearly enough points to beat the Tide's defense.

Off to a slow start? They're undefeated. I don't see anyone who can beat them.

They might go to the NC, but I think they'll lose.
