Americas Next War? War in Pakistan?
What do you think Americas next war will be at/ where/ with who? Do u think all the recent (and past) activity in Pakistan could mean a possible invasion of that country to rid the country of their terrorists? Pakistan is due for a government overthrow any time now, do u think this is good or bad?

War IN Pakistan has already started. covertly at first but now it is getting more overt.
A war AGAINST Pakistan is unlikely. The US would rather have India do the fighting and dying for it in that case.
Pakistan is plagued by an incompetent corrupt and directionless Government. Well they do know one direction very well, their secret Swiss and UAE bank accounts stuffed with the monies they have siphoned off of the state.
The fact is that in the face of US pressure Pakistan will buckle and accept any terms mainly because the leadership sold out years ago and nation cannot afford to be stubborn.
The armed forces would rather save their men and material for the fight against India who is getting stronger every day while Pakistan totters on the brink of disintegration.

War with Pakistan seems more likely than ever now. Stopping the fuel tankers was Pakistan's doing. It was foreseeable that militants would blow them up as it happened before and it is now clear that it was the pakistani government's intent.
Anyway pakistanis are on a permanent war path, willing to take on anybody and everybody: India, Kashmir, US, UK. And they make no fuss about training terrorists and exporting them to carry out attacks in western countries.
It is also clear that Pakistan will not tolerate NATO forces crossing the borders to chase militants, which clearly amounts to supporting them.
So war with Pakistan seems more likely than ever now. It will likely start following a scenario such as NATO forces chasing terrorists and the pakistani army shooting at NATO forces. The war will indeed target militants, but Pakistan is making it so that in order to reach those militants, NATO forces will have to go through the pakistani army.

America's next war? ...
I think that it is quite possible that her next war will be a "civil war" again. I believe that the social, economic and monetary crisis plus the loss of trust in the governments will trigger a war that will actually split the union into four perhaps five separate countries within the current United States.
Hard to believe but then who the hell would have thought some intelligent fools for 'allah' would slam three full jets into the pentagon and the twin towers of the WTC? Yet that happened.
The simmering resentment and the ecological and economic problems in the United States are coming to a boil and I don't think the country can survive it. I also believe that when this does happen it will be a bloodless war compared to the one in the 1860s but never the less; I think your next war will be amongst yourselves.
I hope the future makes a liar out of me but too much is pointing many scholars to be predicting that in the near future.

Maybe it should be, Pakistan is a cesspool of corruption, providing training camps for Islamic extremists, as well as, of course, providing leading Muslim terrorists. However i cant see it happening, at least not short term, Obama would certainly not want another war against an Islamic country. Longer term, India would like the Pakistani problem resolved, and could provide a base for troops etc, mind you the large number of Muslims in India could scupper that.... its all a complicated issue, as the problem is to do with religion and not nationalism, yes rooting out subversives in Pakistan would be good, but it would only inflame their Muslim 'brothers & sisters' elsewhere - within the USA perhaps? Whatever, Islam is a major problem for those who treasure democracy and individual freedoms.

There will be no Military Action against Pakistan. You wanna be G.I. Joes make me laugh. We have just withdrew forces from Iraq. We are bogged down in Afghanistan. We are facing Mid-Term Elections. Do you think that the Politicians want to explain to their constituencies reasons for another War. Stop this immature talk of War with Pakistan. Stop.

Certainly as more comes out about the international nature of Islamic extremism it's clear that whilst Saudi Arabia has been financing most of it the logistics and training have in a large part taken place in Pakistan and the border regions with Afghanistan.
I'm beginning to think that if instead of starting with Afghanistan in 2003 and then getting diverted with the Iraq nonsense we had gone in to HELP the Pakistani government rid itself of agitators, Al Qieda operatives, renegade Taliban and assorted bad guys the world would be a lot safer place today.
Plus Saddam would still be alive and keeping Iran occupied.

America will NEVER EVER declare war against Pakistan bcoz
1.It is in between china,India and Afghanistan so if America wants to declare war for any of these countries it needs a base for army
2.It is helping paks military force(there are even rumors that bcoz of America they built nuclear plant)
so don't worry Americans wont declare war against pak

well, we're already bombing people in Pakistan with drones so it can't be next if action is already occurring there. We've tried fighting drugs and lost. We've tried fighting terror and I think it can only really be called a draw since they can't gather in large enough numbers to effect all of us (no overthrow of America or anything like that) and we can't quite exterminate all the pests. That old war on poverty ain't going so good either. I think if we stop trying to fight ideologies with weapons or at least fight them with other ideologies as well as weapons we'd do better. I believe that since we have withdrawals and troop reductions scheduled the next big American military conflict is going to be military leadership vs civilian leadership on the traditional battlefield of the defense budget. I assure you that while nobody is killed outright lives will be lost whatever the outcome (military victory equals money leaving healthcare programs and social security thus failure to provide adequate care will cost lives or the civilian victory where troops fall because of substandard equipment or logistics problems or any number of possible problems from undercutting military operations)

Pakistan, Iran, China, Russia, it's pretty hard to tell with all the bad countries out there making trouble for the USA.

I always wonder why americans even consider the next war to start. No other country gets away with the crimes of starting wars in the cause of imperialism. Starting a war is essentially mass murder of the population.
