Sounds like you already tried getting her not to wear the boots like that and she doesn't want to take your advice. She likes it like that, then let her. If she gets bullied at school..she'll either stop wearing them like that..OR she will stand up to the bullies..tell them she doesn't care what they think..and wear the boots how she wants to.
You should hope that she stands up to the bullies and dresses how SHE likes to.

Hunny, let her be herself. I used to/still do when I have the chance wear my boots over my jeans. It's the same thing with the sky-high top converse. Go to google and type in boots over pants, you'll see.

If you were to tell her you don't like the look that will make her want to wear it more (and probably hurt her feelings though she wouldn't let you know it). She is 13. This is a time of experimenting with different looks and finding your own style. If she gets laughed at at school that will be when she changes her look. Please just let her wear what she wants (unless its "street walker" clothes) :) Good luck dad!

Just let her be her. If she wants to dress like that, thats cool. If people laugh at her they are being immature. I dress differently and i get alot of looks in the street but im used to it and i dont care what people think about how i dress because thats me, and good people will accept that. Looking differently is a great way to find out who is shallow and who isnt. If she makes friends and they accept her the way she is, thay are good friends. She should ignore the people who give her nasty looks or comments and just continue to roll the way she rolls. Individuality is great!

I was just about to go out and buy some converse boots myself, what a coincidence. I think that the way she dresses is really popular now a-days. Just let her dress how she wants, she'll grow out of that style eventually, /trust me/.

She's obviously joined the Neo Nazi Faschist Party in an attempt to overthrow our democratic sysem of life.

let her wear what she wants, its so annoying when people tell you what you to wear, and skinny's and high-tops are in fashion now :)

you should let her be its a phase. many young girls do something similar. Just be happy its not the makeup.
