Why is korea threatening the united states?
If they do posses illegal weapons or nuclear bombs or nukes and whatever, isn't North Korea going to be arrested for that? I'm not sure about the whole north korea against the US thing, I just heard of it like a few weeks ago. So can anyone tell me a brief description about it and the history? and why they do have nuclear weapons or whatever and what's the purpose of all of that?

Technically the US and their allies are still at war with North Korea. We arranged a cease fire back 1951 (I think) but have still not signed a peace treaty.
North Korea is run as a dictatorship and the current leader, son of the previous leader is a posturing nitwit, al,ways issuing threats about what he's gonna do to South Korea and their US allies.
He is full of hot air and being held back by his military leadersa who don't want to get into a full scale land war once more since the US has the capability to bomb them into submission.

Because That's the ONLY Thing N. Korea has the Ability to DO- that will get Them any Attention from Us. They're dirt poor; have Nothing to sell or trade; can't feed Their own People, and won't let ANYone In ( OR Out) of the Country !! So Why WOULDN'T They Scream & Yell & Threaten about how "Unfair" the U.S. & the World is to Them ?! :o

The USA gives them food and things. They found that if they threaten the USA that the politicians running the country, such as Obama will give them things (usually food, because they are starving) to keep them quite and the American people will ignore them.
