How do you stop Sonnybill Williams having an impact?

This guy is going to be a monster for Cantebury in the Super15 he just keeps on getting better with everygame, and it blows my mind how good he could be playing outside Dan Carter and inside Robbie Fruean. Will be a dangerous combination and i think it will be one most coaches in the Super15 will already be thinking about. Behind a Cantebury pack fulll of All Blacks i am very worried. Im a Chiefs man.

Theres no doubt in my mind he will make the All Blacks, his game on the weekend just booked his ticket on the end of year tour.

Nonu and Smith will be licking thier lips at the thought of getting gametime next to this beast, He will be the 1st man picked to cover 12 and 13 for the Ab's and will be a huge weapon for the World cup. I see him getting plenty of gametime inside Smith and outside Nonu, building up combinations for the big prize.

Look, I was born red and black, but I am not sold on him yet.

He looks good on attack (not great yet, but good) but he is still making mistakes in defence.

What I really don't want to see is him getting a run in the Black before he's ready, being exposed defensively by someone like Cooper or Giteau and giving up a crucial try in the RWC.

He'll need to have a solid Super 15 and outperform Nonu or Smith, these two are as good a centre pairing as we've seen for the All Blacks and he'll need to be on top of his game for the 3 wise men to split them up.

That said, he could be a devastating replacement for either of them in the last 20 minutes of a test as legs start to tire.

He may be a great one day, but not yet.

Expose him in defence. Rugby defence is far more technical than in league and this is definitely an area where SBW can be shown up, especially by guys like Giteau and De Villiers. I remember De Villiers destroying any pretence Timana Tahu had at being at being a rugby player in 2008 and I'm sure SBW will be the same. If the guy had half as much talent as he did hype he'd be scary

He's still making a few blues especially in defence when the other side kicks but this will improve with more rugby. He should go on ABs spring tour to the NH. As well he should be in the AB squad for the WC.
