The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse?

Are they good or bad? I know the name are War, Famine, and Death. But it says in the bible that death and Hades are cast into the lake of fire, which is the second death. So why would they be sent to hell if they're unleashed by God (in the 7 scrolls). So basically I'm trying to say are they good or bad? And are Death and Hades good or bad?

P.S. I know the Angel of Death is good, but I hope that the church don't exile me for liking the four horsemen of the apocalypse.

Update:

For atheist and agnostics commenting on my question please stop, I did not ask you to answer,

I'm asking the general religious person.

1: The first of these horsemen --on the white horse-- pictures Jesus himself as conquering King.

The other riders with their steeds picture happenings on earth that mark the beginning of Jesus’ reign: war, famine, and untimely death through various agents. http://watchtower.org/e/bh/appendix_10.htm

#2. Jesus said: “Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom.”

    http://watchtower.org/e/20051001/article_02.htm

This was a prophecy of war.

The second of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse similarly prefigured war. We read:

“Another came forth, a fiery-colored horse; and to the one seated upon it there was granted to take peace away from the earth so that they should slaughter one another; and a great sword was given him.” (Revelation 6:4)

Since mankind has been fighting wars for thousands of years, why should these words have a special significance for our day?

War on its own is NOT the sign of Jesus’ presence. The sign is made up of ALL the details of Jesus’ prophecy happening in the SAME general time period. But war is the first feature mentioned, so we might expect that this feature would be fulfilled in an outstanding / attention catching way... And... the wars of this 20th century ARE unparalleled in all previous history.

Regarding the 'great sword' that was given the second horseman...

Weapons of war became far more deadly at that time. Equipped with the tank, the airplane, deadly poison gas, submarines, and artillery that could fire explosive shells over several miles, man became more efficient in killing his neighbor. And since the first world war the “great sword” has become even more destructive—owing to the use of such things as radio communications, radar, sophisticated rifles, bacteriological and chemical weapons, flamethrowers, napalm, new types of bombs, intercontinental ballistic missiles, nuclear submarines, advanced airplanes, and huge battleships...

No earlier wars—cruel and destructive as many were—came even close to the destructiveness of the two world wars of the 20th century... The first world war eventually caused about 14 million fatalities, which was more than the entire population of many countries at that time.

#3. Jesus foretold: “And there will be food shortages . . . in one place after another.”

This harmonizes with the ride of the third horseman:

“I saw, and, look! a black horse; and the one seated upon it had *a pair of scales* in his hand. And I heard a voice as if in the midst of the four living creatures say: ‘A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the olive oil and the wine.’” (Revelation 6:5, 6)

    This denotes *severe* food shortages!

A very ominous type of food shortage has developed during the 20th century which is less dramatic and often ignored. But, it persists year after year after year. This is a severe scourge of malnutrition which affects up to 1/5th of the population of our planet and *kills between 13 and 18 million people each year*!

In other words, this kind of food shortage *regularly kills about as many people IN 2 DAYS as were killed at Hiroshima by the atom bomb*...

*EVERY 2 years more people die from the effects of hunger than there were soldiers killed by BOTH World War I --AND-- World War II together!

So, there definitely have been food shortages & their consequences since 1914!

These are God judgment onto "Christendom". As you know, God wrath will be onto the believers as well as unbelievers because they are also part of the evil community-the Byzantine Empire (also known as the beast) that judgment had been made. And God will cause the few to suffer together with the rest that were given to the beast but for the few the reward will be paradise against the rest the lake of fire.

The rider on the white horse is a Muslim, an approved God people, the same rider as described in Rev.19, where it described to the very detailed about prophet Muhammad.

But,the red was the Persian who had been tormenting the kingdom constantly about the same era causing havoc and famine(loss of farmed land and rationing of food). If you like, the Persian are described in Rev 9.

When the Persian-an unapproved God people, took Egypt from them, the food supply to the Byzantine was further cut-off and there was widespread famine throughout the kingdom which is the third rider in black.

It was also during these period that there was great plague devastation all kingdom including Byzantine, Persian and Muslim Syria killing most of the world population, which is the last rider.

I'm very curious Don Juan. Your question indicates that if the greek orthodox church doesn't believe in something you're not going to believe in it either. I find that type of denominationalism quite sad. It is having a relationship with a denomination rather than the LORD Jesus Christ and reading what the Bible says for yourself. I believe in what the Bible says not what a denomination teaches. That way you know you are following the Truth. Many here have shown you the answer to your question that it is in the Bible. Does that mean you will believe it or if your denomination taught differently you would believe them.

The only horseman that is good is the first one, the one on the white horse. War, Famine, and Death are all bad. The horseman on the white horse is for righteous warfare, and he is a warrior-king. He is none other than Christ Jesus. The angel of death is also good because he puts to death only those who God deems worthy of death. He too is Christ Jesus.

They are meant to make you believe in God with the notion that if you don't you will be subjected to some kind of hell during the end time. So it is subjective to what side of the fence your on. If your a believer then you will be ok. If you are a non believer or at least not living a righteous life, you will be punished.

    Meaningless question

What is "good" what is "Bad"

Good and bad are adjectives or descriptive terms, not nouns or things that have independent existence

the whole Apocalypse was just a hallucination by a senile old man on an island

    Is this from Good Omens?

Honestly, I don't know how to answer your question.

God's level of thinking is way beyond our capacity. Our smartest wouldn't even be enough to compete with his dumbest. He thinks in such complex ways that we don't get to see the reason behind his logic.

are you talking about Richard Dawkins, Sam Harrison, Daniel Dennet and Christopher Hitchinson?

They will bring religions Apocolypse, and that is good, really good

Maybe you don't want agnostics and atheists to answer, because you don't want a real answer, just an emotional response.
