does cute mean you're chubby?
I'm 5'4-5'5" tall and I'm about 112 lbs. so I know I'm not chubby but I always hear people saying that cute means chubby and young looking. I'm 16 and I look a little young I suppose...or is cute just a nice way of saying you're ugly? I get called cute, pretty, and beautiful. So I'm not sure which I'm supposed to believe. Guys what are your definitions of the ratings? And girls what are yours?
(on a side question to cute) Cute does mean attractive in looks to?

cute actually means you're attractive/pretty - attractive is too neutral/not-endearing, while pretty comes across as insincere for some reason. Cute is something that conveys genuine attraction.
Shorter girls/young women (5'0" or so) often get classified as cute over petite.

there are four levels of compliments for girls.
cute
pretty
hot
beautiful
wen you get to a certain age--say 16 and over, you start getting sick of hearing
"Hey, you're really cute"
Personally, i get that from guys, and i am and 5foot 9.
My definition of cute, is little 11 year old girl with nice clothes on. Not a fully blown teen on the verge of womanhood.
Beautiful is the word that any girl would love to hear.

cute can mean ure personally is cute, bubbly and super fun
or it can mean ure cute like a doll. my friend is 16, super cute and she looks really young like a doll but shes also the skinniest person i know.
