I agree with you that we (or, at least some of us) can subconsciously feel good and bad vibes, somewhat like an energy, or aura surrounding a person. There has been studies that dogs are more likely to attack when they can "sense" fear in us. What they sense is actually a type of hormone that we humans release when we feel fearful. Though we humans are not sensitive as dogs in that respect, I do believe that we can sense something...when being near with someone. Personally, I can take that onto the next level. When playing yahoo online games, where one's free to chat with the other player(s), I can often tell what they're wearing and their basic features, and sometimes certain things about their immediate environment, such as a window on the side, a cup on the desk etc. It did make someone jump in the chair...but, interesting, isn't it, how we can sense those things?

Hmmm, There's no way to say what goes on inside a boys brain. But there must have been something up there. My best bet was that he felt self conscious or nervous.

If you're worried about it, open up and talk to him, and remember tell him that you also like having him close and just see what he says about what he did ect.

i have to agree with the first few answers that maybe he did get a hard on and was embarrassed or maybe he got nervous...or maybe he didn't want you to think he was coming on too strong? Was it your first date? Give the second date something a little different and see what happens. i'm sure he likes you tho :)

maybe he didn't want to give you the impression that he was coming on too strong? or moving too fast perhaps? i'd sit down with him and just ask him about it and really just tell him how you feel. if you really like this guy, you should find out if you can! (if you think he's worth it)! oh, and one more thing, he could've also gotten a little bit nervous too, or shy?

he most likely got a bo**** from sitting so close to you maybe. and went to the bathroom.
