To NBA viewing veterans:?

I'm not trying to downplay over overrate anyone here but I was born in 93 so I wouldn't really have that great of a scope of a viewpoint. What exactly made Magic better than LeBron is now without the obvious championships and accolades that Magic had? I'm asking things like who was the better passer, carried his team more, worked harder, etc... Thanks.

Update:

Mamba: When you say Magic was more clutch,, was he the guy making the plays to finish games and taking the last second shots? Was it a mix of Kareem attempts and Magic plays? Or did Showtime have role players like Worthy who stepped up whenever necessary?

Update 2:

ILDA: Thanks for the comment but it had nothing to do with my question.

Update 3:

Thaks for the answer I'M ME

Magic was one of the greatest passers scorers and rebounders for his position and all time. He was clutch in the form of making shots like his infamous hook shot and he could make players for you done the stretch. He could do everything offensively, grab the rebound, run the floor, pass the ball to a cutter or score in his own way or just pop up for the three.

Lebron is more of a finesse player, he can do everything as well but was a lot more physical instead and didnt have the creativity, shooting or defensive presence that Magic had. Lebron is a better scorer and shot blocker however and maybe a better rebounder but Magic was a better passer, shooter, clutch player, post player, and defender.

Magic was beast as a rookie in an Era that had some GREAT competition. I don't agree with it..But, that's why they fired the Westhead and hired Riley as head coach to build the team around Magic instead of Kareem.

Magic would have NEVER QUIT in the playoffs..But, he's being a bit of a hypocrite in his remarks about Lebron. Magic himself said, he wouldn't have played for Chicago and would have stayed in college if the Lakers hadn't drafted him to play along side Kareem.

Magic was the better player. He was a much better passer, he was more clutch, and definitely a better leader.

He did alot of both, he could knock down clutch shots when he needed to or he would drive and kick it to someone wide open for an easy shot. Something he did more then shooting.

Lebron is a great player but didnt have the supporting cast he needed for a Championship team.

Lebron-Mo Williams (Chucker), Ilgauskas (Old), Varejoa (Average)

Diwght Howard is a great player too, and had better supporting cast than Cleveland ( but not as good as Lakers, which is why they lost.)

Dwight-Jameer (All Star), Turkoglu (OK Player, but excellent chemistry with DH), Rashard (Average Player)
